In the past regulations around opt-in or cookies were different across European countries and there were a lot of grey areas. This is all changing and with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which came into effect on 25th May 2018. Not complying has serious consequences so it's time for you to get to work.
During this 2 week course you can learn the base principles of GDPR that are relevant for inbound marketers. You'll be able to work on your own marketing campaigns and website.
After you enrol, BusinessBrew will provide you with videos, a suggested lesson plan and written documentation for you to work through at your own pace. We will schedule office hours to discuss specific topics for the duration of the course, together with other participants. Once you complete the course, we'll follow up with a personal office hour for you to discuss how far you are towards GDPR marketing compliance.
This course is built by Nikita Smits-Jorgensen. She is accredited with an ISO 17024: 2012 certification by the IAPP as Certified Information Privacy Professional Europe. The training and certification for CIPP/E focusses on and demonstrates knowledge on GDPR, PECR and privacy laws in Europe.
